Decoratively inspired by the long-standing local tradition of loom weaving and architecturally based on sustainability principles, the Akanthos Penthouse Suite impresses its guests with details such as custom made wall weaved textile decorations or tasteful handmade furniture by local artisans carved with wood from the centuries-old forests of the autonomous monastic state.
In addition, it is the ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding area, whether you decide to swim on the famous beaches, try fresh fish in the port of Ierissos or visit the neighbouring Mount Athos (15 minutes by car) or the birthplace of Aristotle (20 minutes by car). Keep in mind that you always have the option to explore on foot the archaeological site of Ancient Akanthos, being nearby the complex's lush garden.
